So I've been at the A&E for the last four hours following a good 45 minutes of abnormal heart actvity - an adverse reaction to my asthma medication.
Apparently I had a heart arrhythmia, but the inability to keep my breath under control and light-headedness meant I shouldn't have attempted to get to the hospital A&E by myself on the tube. I was informed by the doctor three hours later I'm supposed to call an ambulance next time.
Nicely of course.
The whole thing is pretty terrifying. Sitting at your desk with your heart thumping and whacking away in your chest, hands shaking, breathing like you're running up the fifth flight of stairs though you haven't moved in half an hour. It went on and on, for 45 minutes at least. I'm exhausted now.
